Doctor Billy is a Melbourne-based General Practitioner, Principal GP and owner of The General Practitioner. His work focuses on preventative health, metabolic medicine and long-term patient care, with a particular interest in helping people navigate increasingly complex health information with clarity and confidence.

While his foundation is in clinical medicine, Billy's work now extends well beyond the consulting room. He is recognised as an emerging voice in public health conversations, regularly speaking on panels, contributing to media discussions and helping broader audiences make sense of evolving medical research and what it means in real life.

Billy has extensive experience working across residential aged care and community healthcare settings. Through this work he founded Clinical Instinct, an innovative in-person education program designed to transform how aged care clinicians develop clinical judgement, confidence and practical decision-making skills. The program focuses on real-world medicine and improving outcomes for some of the most vulnerable patients in the healthcare system.

He is a regular contributor on ABC Radio Melbourne, where he discusses current health issues and emerging research, and frequently speaks at medical and community events including panels hosted by the Hellenic Medical Society of Australia and other professional organisations.

Outside of medicine, Billy remains closely connected to his local community and serves on the committee of a not-for-profit childcare centre. He is married to a fellow medical professional and is a father to three young children, which keeps life busy, joyful and occasionally chaotic.

When he's not in clinic, visiting aged care homes or speaking at events, you will likely find him out on the water. Boating and fishing provide a welcome reset from the pace of medicine.
